This box will list the various categories of your products, including sub-categories if necessary. This provides easy access to your products and will help your customer browse through your store effortlessly.
Manufacturers
This option is helpful if you carry several products from various manufacturers. For those do-it-yourself manufacturers, this option can be disabled.
What's New?
This information box will show a random product from your inventory based on specific criteria such as when you first offered a product for sale.
Quick Find
Quick Find is a search tool specific to your shopping cart. It will quickly search through product titles, descriptions, and SKUs to find a match. It can be a flexible search such as entering "fish" to find all products that have the letters "fish" within their product descriptions or as specific as "starfish" to eliminate such products as "goldfish" - either way your customers are bound to like this tool.
Information
This box contains links to various informational pages on your shopping cart. There is no limit as to the number of pages that you can display here, however, the four pages listed are standard features of the TreadStar Shopping Cart System. These pages should be reviewed by the store owner and substitutions can be made for the content of each page. The four pages listed will cover the concerns that most shoppers may have regarding their shopping experience on your shopping cart. An additional page for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) is suggested for common questions about your industry or store.
Shopping Cart
This is a display of the contents of a shopper's shopping cart. It serves as an easy reminder of what the customer has already decided to purchase.
Best Sellers
Another optional box that offers the shopper a peek at what your most popular items are.
Reviews
Product reviews can be entered by registered shoppers, (edited by the shop owner where necessary) and visitors to your shopping cart can read the reviews. This optional box may help a buyer who is sitting on the fence, make a buying decision.
Languages
Currently the TreadStar Shopping Cart System provides support for English, Spanish, and German. If you choose to offer your products for sale in multiple languages, your visitors will be able to browse your shopping cart in the language of their choice. Multiple languages are optional and should you choose to display your shopping cart in a single language, this feature is easily disabled.
Currencies
The TreadStar Shopping Cart System can handle as many different currencies as you wish to display. If you choose to work within a single currency, this option is not displayed.
Check Out this Product...
At the bottom of the page is a random display of products in your store. This changes everytime a page in your store is loaded to give each page a fresh look and to bring a customer's attention to your full line of inventory.
Order History
This box will display a constant reminder of what products a registered customer has purchased from your store when they are logged in.
Product Notifications
Keep your customer up to date with changes to your products. Whether there are upgrades, price changes, or simple descriptions, your registered customers will be the first to know.
Manufacturer's Info
When a producted is displayed that has a manufacturer associated with it, the Manufacturer's Info box will be displayed. From this box a customer can click on a link to see all of that manufacturer's products that you carry. Another optional feature would allow the customer to actually visit the manufacturer's website.
Specials
In the admin area you can add products to the Specials area that will then be highlighted via the Specials Box. You can offer a special price either by entering a dollar figure or a percentage discount and you can also enter a date which will automatically expire the offer. When your customer sees the Specials box, they will undoubtably have to sneak a peek at what your are offering today.
Tell-A-Friend
This useful box will prompt your shopper's to share that great find with their friends and family. When they choose Tell-A-Friend they will go to a form where they can then enter their friend's name and email address to send a notice to.
